SPECTRUM’s Rainbow Diversity Training is a service that helps organizations along the path towards becoming more open and welcoming, as well as equitable and accessible to persons of all sexual and gender diversities, both to clients and employees of the organization.
SPECTRUM offers a variety of workshops in 2SLGBTQ+ cultural competency that help organizations along the path towards becoming more welcoming and inclusive to 2SLGBTQ+ employees, clients, and other partners or stakeholders.
WHY IT MATTERS:
All minority groups encounter challenges. Some challenges are unique to sexual/gender diversity. For example, for some people, sexual orientation or gender identity is an invisible stigmatized identity.
Disclosure can entail risk, which carries stress with it. Becoming a more open and welcoming organization can improve interactions with both clients and employees who are LGBTQ2+ identified.

SPECTRUM's new Rainbow Diversity Training will be relaunched in September / early October 2021. SPECTRUM offers sessions for up to 20 participants at a time. During the pandemic all of our training is happening virtually using Zoom. We look forward to being able to do this work in person when Public Health guidelines allow.
